]]> Pulse Polio Awareness & Participation Program Pulse Polio Awareness & Participation camps were conducted in the month of May 2006. It was noticed that the general awareness regarding the importance of Pulse Polio was mostly underplayed by many young mothers. Inspite of the Health workers and Anganwadi workers trying their level best to encourage young mothers to get their children in the age group of 0-5 years for the pulse polio, the program did not see a huge turnout.

Pulse Polio Awareness & Participation Program A Team of four members from Causeaneffect picked some interior villages of Nalgonda district like Cheekati Mamidi, Pyararam Villages of Bommalaramaram mandal, did a house-house survey in the village and encouraged young mothers to go to the Pulse Polio booths. As a gesture of motivation, fruits and biscuit packets were distributed to all the children who attended the pulse polio program. The team were also involved in administering polio drops.
