These workshops ranged from highlighting the importance of forming Self Help Groups and motivating them to actively participate in the same to brining out the importance of women participation in the Income Generation Activities along with Men so that they could get children educated and provide better standard of living.Woman

The Workshops were conducted by involving various eminent persons and successful entrepreneurs who had been engaged in self income generation activities and many State Government officials.

The workshops were attended in large numbers by active members of the Groups and other women too.

]]> TribunTribals in India, especially women, live in a very pitiable state. They do not even have proper clothes to cover themselves with as protection from the extreme climatic conditions. In areas on the hills and remote places, where common men and women, cannot even tread, they walk bare footed. As a first step, in the Tribal Women Welfare Program, we are distributing clothes, i.e. sarees, along with footwear for the Tribal Women living in the remote villages of the East Godavari District.

Beneficiaries selected are physically challenged women, widows and those living below the poverty line.
