Festival of Lights at iridium Interactive

Diwali Dhoom at iridium Interactive

Festivals come and go every now and then, but there are some festivals we wish will never go, those we wish were there every day. Diwali “The Festival of Lights” is one of them, the day when all our faces are lit like 1000 candle bulbs, the day when all our hearts are filled with joy and enthusiasm, the day which is celebrated with great zeal & warmth among all races and religions.

I have always enjoyed celebrating Diwali with family and friends, this diwali is more special since I got to celebrate it with the iridium Interactive family. All through my 4 months of internship here, there were many a time I was thrilled or surprised, be it the Independence Day celebrations or the great team spirit but this was much special in many ways. The first thing I should talk about was the participation in anthakashari where I saw people who are always seen seriously working all day and night to finish their projects dance and sing with all josh and enthusiasm and with great zeal to win it too. There were several rounds in anthakshari where we had to sing all mass songs in one round but a special mention should be given to the buzzer round which was great fun. We had to lift our hands if we knew the song and all of us stood with our hands raised all through the round and it was great fun seeing the judge’s confusion on whom to give the chance to sing. It was great fun to see people dance and sing and I felt so comforted and warm celebrating diwali with my new family which gave me a new experience of fun at work. The top floor of our building was decorated multi-colored Rangoli designs and lamps bringing the feel of Diwali and then we played with fire works as excited as small children and then had our evening snacks and left the place with all the diwali spirit in our hearts. Some things make great impact on us, this Diwali was one, it thought me on how to lead a balanced life- fun at work.
