Stories of Cause an Effect Foundation’s causes and effects are soaring high in the sky, probably that’s how the Foundation caught the attention of India’s No.1 Airlines – Jet Airways. |

In a recent development Jet Airways approached Cause an Effect for a tie up to take up their Headset Maintenance activity through its Women groups.
Jet Airways has been looking for a reliable Non-Profit Organization to carry on the Headset Maintenance of various flights of Jet Airways culminating at Hyderabad. In this context, Jet Airways shortlisted 10-12 NGOs in Hyderabad and started a dialogue with them regarding this work. After thorough evaluation for 2 months, they finalized Cause an Effect for awarding the work. Officials from Jet Airway’s Mumbai office flew in specially to sign the agreement.
Through this deal, we have identified various women groups (approximately around 20 women have been shortlisted for the activity) who would be involved in the process end-to-end ie right from pick up of headsets from the Hyderabad International Airport to conducting the maintenance, testing the same and handing over back to Airlines officials. Each member of the women group would make anywhere between Rs.3000/- to Rs.4000/- per month through this deal.Cause an Effect would spend any surplus money on various other women related initiatives.
So if you are the Foundation’s volunteer, don’t be surprised if you find your picture in their in-house magazine (which by the way they have requested for permission to feature a story on Cause an Effect’s various initiatives).
